American Powerboats At Wholesale Prices!!

What we do

Gufl Express International acts as an agent for private importers of new, leading brand, American powerboats in many parts of the world. GEI has a network of suppliers in North America and elsewhere which provide new, current model boats virtually at dealer cost. Occasionally, old inventory models are obtained at or even below dealer cost! Such buying privileges are rarely available to individual buyers. To date our client base includes buyers from the U.K., mainland Europe, Scandinavia, the Middle East, Asia, Australia and of course, New Zealand.

All boats are indent ordered and depending on model/options chosen delivery can be quite prompt. Boats are ordered, shipped and insured in the client’s name. Payments are handled through a secure, independent system to ensure protection of client’s funds. We have been dealing with this company since our inception without one problem to date and hundreds of boats handled.
GEI offers a complete source and ship service. Our shipping agents obtain the best rates going and additional savings can be obtained here. All boats are shrink wrapped prior to shipment, usually the original factory applied wrap, to ensure that they arrive still looking brand new.

mega support-yacht

The arms race in mega-yachts has reached a new level, with the launch of the "mega support-yacht."

The support yacht "Sea Axe."Support yachts are for people who have outgrown their mega-yachts and need more space for their helicopters, speedboats, launches and submarines. The support yacht acts as a floating garage, trailing alongside the main yacht with all of the owner's oversized "toys."

While support yachts have been around for a while, the yacht-maker Amels has launched the Rolls Royce of support yachts -- the Sea Axe -- a gleaming, 220-feet ship that can hold a mega-chopper, loads of speedboats, a submarine, and all the scuba gear, jet skis and floaties an oligarch or sheik could ever want.

Amels is mum on the price. But they've recently sold two, and the company says interest is strong from other buyers.

Amels marketing chief Victor Caminada said that the main appeal of a support yacht is its speed and space. By offloading the toys and chopper pads to the secondary vessel, owners can free up more space on their main yachts for Jacuzzis, wet bars and bedroom suites.

Take the helicopter condundrum, for example. Landing a helicopter on a mega-yacht can be highly disruptive to the owners and guests,Caminada said.

"You have to get all the passengers inside, take in all the pillows, get the crew to a fire-safety area," he said. With a support yacht nearby, "you can land on the support yacht and free the mother ship of all that hassle and interruption."

Or take speedboats. Mega-yachts need tenders, the speedboats used to ferry passengers to and from the shore. Today's tenders have become status symbols unto themselves. But storing a 40-foot luxury speedboat on board can take up huge amount of space - not to mention the crane that's needed to lift them to and from the water.

Storing them on a support yacht allows the yacht owner to use bigger and more elaborate tenders - like the American-made J-Craft boats that have become increasingly popular with the super-rich.

"It's about when you pull up to the docks, who has the nicest tender," said Caminada.

The Sea Axe is also faster than most mega-yachts - due in part to its ax-like hull. It has a top speed of 20 knots to 25 knots and it can move faster than the mother yacht. That allows owners to leave the support boat behind to load and unload tenders, or race ahead to prepare for the next stop.

Cost of Running a YachtFrom fuel to food to the crew's salaries, the multi-million dollar price tag of a new yacht is only the beginning. Costs can easily add up to millions of dollars a year to fully operate and enjoy one's yacht. Robert Frank breaks down for us how quickly...

And with its yacht-worthy paint job and styling, Sea Axe fits well with the look of a mega-yacht.

"It's like a pimped out pick-up truck," Caminada said. "It's not like an ugly duck trailing along. It looks good."

2012 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show

For those of you who made this years Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show, our most successful in years, we would like to say thank you.  If we missed you we will see you in Miami and Dubai next year.
(see some pictures from the show below)

Being on the water is something that people love whether it is in a kayak, a RIB, a Hobie Cat, performance sailboat, fishing boat, expedition yacht, or trawler. Their passion for being on the water does not crash with the stock market, though that might affect when they move on to the next boat. For many people, it's not a matter of "if," it's a matter of "when." When that "when" becomes "now" we hope that you will keep GULF EXPRESS INTERNATIONAL in mind for all your boat/yacht transportation services. Whether your located half way around the world or just down the street we are here for you every step of the way.

OUR EXPERIENCE IN LOADING AND SHIPPING BOATS FROM THE USA

OUR EXPERIENCE IN LOADING AND SHIPPING BOATS FROM THE USA
We have experience in importing boats from the USA.
Transport of boats via in-land transport caross the USA can be expensive.
It is much cheaper to find a boat that is close to a shipping port.

METHOD OF LOADING
The following relates to shipping costs if a boat is to be shipped with a trailer or without a trailer.

MEASUREMENTS
 Measurements are critical.

The width measurement of the trailer and the width of the boat is critical.
We require total dimensions of the trailer and the boat on a trailer to provide a more accurate quotation. A photograph also helps to determine a quotation for importation.

MEASUREMENTS REQUIRED
- Overall length of boat on trailer

- Length of boat
- Beam width of Boat

- Width of trailer from outside edge of fenders
- Height of boat from ground level to windscreen height

- Width of trailer - please note that the width of overall trailer needs to be less than 91 inches.....that is the inside width of the container.....distance between the door openings of a container.
You may buy a boat without a trailer and the seller may already have the boat on a trailer or stillage.

TRAILER OPTION
This option relates to remove the axle and fenders and load the boat secured
to the trailer. Wood blocks will be tied to the trailer frame which will allow the boat /

trailer to slide into the container.Axle and fenders will be stowed on top or on their edge.

COST OPTION
This is another option. Dependent upon customer acceptance.

We have done a number of loads in this manner.
The inside width of the container is 91 inches so if the boat width on a trailer is greater than 91 inches it won't fit inside the container unless we roll the container and use a high cube container which is 9 foot 6 inches high. If we roll the container it is best to leave the boat on the trailer.

We do that for Mastercraft, Ski Nautique, CorrectCraft , Supra and Tige type boats on a trailer or if the boat and trailer are wider than 91 inches. For wakeboard boat the tower is folded down or removed.
With this method the container is rolled on it's side and the boat and trailer loaded vertically against the side of a 8 foot 6 inch high cube container and then the container is rolled back in it's normal position. Fuel, battery oil etc MUST be removed from the boat.

The boat is cord strapped to the trailer and then the boat and trailer is again cord strapped to the side of the container.

Alternatively a “ roll on roll off “ method.

Total Loss Insurance Cover is 1% of purchase value of boat plus shipping cost.
All Risk Insurance Cover is 1.5% of purchase value of boat plus shipping cost.

WRITTEN QUOTATION CAN BE PROVIDED
We provide a written quotation detailing all of the above.

We can also provide an indicative landed cost of the vessel if you provide the purchase price value of the vessel and the condition.

Mechanics of shipping a boat into a shipping container

From start to finish
Custom Cradle

With the boat on its custom cradle, clearance for the shipping container is carefully checked.

It looks like the fixed windshield will have to go, but the railing will be a close fit.

Those measurements and calculations proved to be rather accurate
On Her Beam EndsThe boat's trailer found a home on the right side of the container

Wrapped RailingThe welded one-piece bow railing had to be removed. It was carefully wrapped in protective plastic, and stored against the topsides of the boat.

boat out of the container and back on its trailer

All the planning, effort, and expense of shipping pays off when you can use your BOAT to explore beautiful waters like these
